Balkan Holidays, the leading ski operator to Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia, has launched its second edition winter ski programme for 2008/09, with many brochure prices frozen or lower than 2007/08.
The Bulgarian ski specialist has also expanded its portfolio with a number of new hotels including the following:

The four star Hotel Spa and Apartments St Ivan Rilski . Consisting of four buildings the apartments offer spectacular views of the mountains with a good range of facilities, which include a restaurant, lobby bar, Budha bar and a sports and health centre. Prices start from £405pp for one week on a bed and breakfast basis, departing Gatwick (based on two sharing).
Pamporovo
The three star Castle Apartments. This well appointed property offers a restaurant, café, fitness room, jacuzzi and ski storage. Prices start from £259pp for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis, departing Gatwick B&B departing Gatwick ( based on 6 sharing a two bed apartment).
Borovets
The four star plus Hotel Yastrebets 4*plus. This hotel is a luxurious property combining style, charm and first class facilities including an excellent spa centre. Finnish style villas are also available right next to the hotel. It is the first hotel in Bulgaria to be part of the Small Luxury hotels of the World. Prices start from £495pp for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis, departing Gatwick (based on two sharing), or £419 pp for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis, departing Gatwick (based on four sharing).
