Tourism has many advantages for people across the world! However, to reduce its environmental impact we must all work together. We are in partnership with the Travel Foundation to help our hotels introduce practices that will save energy and water. We also employ local people as representatives and guides in our holiday resorts. This is positive for several reasons, it means they can give you excellent advice and help while you are on holiday as well as providing jobs for the local communities, so they benefit from tourism. In Balkan Holidays head office we ensure we recycle all paper, cardboard and plastic, plus we have reduced the number of brochures we print, recycling any that are left over at the end of each season. We care about our world and are doing all we can to reduce the impact our holidays have on it!
