Location: Golden Sands is located on the Black Sea coast near the historic city of Varna, Bulgaria’s largest port and about 25 kms from Varna Airport. The smaller resort of St. Konstantin is next the lively Golden Sands some 17 km from Varna airport.
Kiddie Club: Available in Golden Sands, our Mr. Bear’s Kids Club is based at Marina Grand Beach hotel and open to all 4 - 12 year olds.
Sports: Golden Sands offers a wealth of sports facilities, including tennis, minigolf, cycling and ten-pin bowling, together with watersports such as windsurfing, jet skis, pedaloes, yachting and banana rides. Nearby is the fun Aquapolis Waterpark, while in the resort, the excellent PADI Deep Blue Diving Centre offers a full range of courses for children and adults.
In St. Konstantin you may find pedaloes, tennis, cycling, ten-pin bowling.
Excursions: Shopping trips to Varna, excursions to nearby historic Nessebar, boat trips, minibreaks by coach or air to Istanbul and Sofia, coach tours to the romantic Danube River, day trips to Romania and evening trips to local nightspots. All bookable in resort – ask your representative for details.
Nights Out: here is a varied range of eating spots in Golden Sands including the Amphora restaurant located on the sands, and great nightspots such as the ever-popular Muppet Karoake Bar and Bonkers nightclub.

Important Note: As Golden Sands is situated on a hillside, the hotels (except those on or very near to the beach) are reached by sloping paths or steps. Elderly clients, or people with walking or breathing difficulties, should bear this in mind when selecting accommodation.
