Located around the bay of Kotor the small village of Prcanj was established in the 16th
century and known as a pirate’s hide away. At the end of the 18th century, Prcanj had 30
trade ships and in the 18th and 19th centuries several private schools for ship’s captains
and sailors were established here. It is 4 km from Kotor, the majestic Mediterranean town
set under the steep mountains that surround the Fjord (under UNESCO protection), a place
to find many bars, restaurants cafés and shops.
