There are some excellent excursions from each resort, some of which are highlighted below.
- From Sunny Beach to Varna and Golden Sands; to the old towns of Kotel and Zheravna; a campfire evening; a shopping tour and a feel for the delicious Bulgarian cuisine. There is even a trip to Istanbul.
- From Golden Sands, Albena and St. Konstantin; wine tasting, dinner in a Bulgarian Summer 09 Home, trips to Varna, Balchik and Kaliakra, Nessebur and Sunny Beach, to Rousse, a day trip to Sofia and the Rila Monastery, trips to Istanbul and the "Romantic Danube".

All Black Sea resorts have well equipped and staffed Polyclinics, where first aid is free, with charges for treatment courses and medication only. Spectacles and dentistry are also much cheaper than in the UK, so ask your rep for advice.
