Winter is at its most beauty on Kopaonik, but this white mountain with five-star skiing facilities is more than just another winter heaven. Nearly 44 km of well-maintained alpine ski-runs including 3 International Ski Federation (FIS) standard runs are served by 16 ski and chair lifts and 4 nursery lifts.
The total capacity of the well linked lift network is about 15 000 skiers per hour. The maximum vertical rise is 521 metres, while the longest run is 3,5 km.
Kopaonik is a paradise for both serious skiers and those who prefer après-ski activities. One can relax in a pleasantly warm swimming pool, have a snack by a fireplace, enjoy grilled delicacies with a glass of wine, have a game of tennis, go souvenir shopping or enjoy wild motor-sledge rides, Kopaonik resort is where the fun never ends.
Beginners
The novice will find experienced professional instructors that will take care of all their ski requirements. All lessons are conducted in english and there is much for those eager to try other sports such as snowboarding, monoski, hang-gliding, as well as tobogganing.
The Ski School in Kopaonik is organised to ISIA and YU Ski School standards. Classes are divided according to age group (6-7 years, 7-10, 11-15, 16 and older) and experience.
Intermediates
Skiing in Kopaonik welcomes intermediates with 7 red runs, few of which are suitable for advancing beginners as well.
Advanced
Kopaonik is regular host to many ski and snowboard competitions, therefore the most experienced skiers will find here plenty to keep them busy and entertained. There are 3 FIS standard runs - for slalom, giant slalom and super G or downhill, and some good cross country skiing with about 20 km of marked trails.
If you wish to take it off-piste, please make sure that your insurance policy covers off-piste skiing and that you take a guide with you.
Snowboarding
Snowboarding is popular in the resort with excellent conditions. Advanced borders have exceptional opportunity to experience rides in virgin snow and enjoy breathtaking scenery.
Night Skiing
Minutes away from the heart of the resort the floodlit slope is there for your pleasure between 7.00 pm - 10.00 pm every night.
Ski Lifts
All ski lifts operate from 9.00 am until 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm - 10.00 pm (for night skiing) , seven days a week.
Après-ski
Kopaonik is a home to numerous cafes, restaurants, bars, patisseries, amusement arcades and clubs. Will it be a warm croissant or a cold beer? Whatever people like to drink, to eat or buy is to be found here.
Excursions
There is so much to see in Kopaonik region: old monuments and fortresses, medieval monasteries and churches, health spas and bustling markets, renowned vineyards and a scenic national park ideal for a photo safari.

- SHOPS
In Kopaonik you will find a number of restaurants, cafes, clubs and bars, souvenir shops, boutiques and jewelleries. The post office based in Konaci is open between 9.00am - 3.00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
- MEDICAL ARRANGEMENTS
An ambulance is located near the ski-lift station, with working hours 9.00 am - 1.00 pm, Monday to Friday and 5.00 pm - 7.00 pm on weekends.

Some medical services must be paid in cash. Receipts will be provided to enable you to claim back from your insurance company once you return to the UK.
