Starting from Trogir, this cruise will take you around the islands of Vis, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet, visiting towns and cities of Sibenik, Split, Omis, Slano and Dubrovnik.
South Adriatic Cruise Itinerary - MS Agape Rose
Day 1 Saturday: Trogir
Embarkation in Trogir from 2pm. Meanwhile you will be served a welcome drink with snack and offered a chance to meet your Cruise Director, the Captain and the crew of MS “Agape Rose”. Captain's instructions are given and safety measures explained. Dinner on board and overnight in Trogir.
Day 2 Sunday: Trogir - Skradin - Sibenik
After breakfast enjoy an optional walking tour of Trogir - a protected UNESCO heritage site. Departure to Skradin which is at the entrance to the Krka National Park. Free time to explore the park (entrance fee not included). Afternoon departure to Sibenik. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice or on board for guests on full board option. Overnight in Sibenik.
Day 3 Monday: Sibenik - Vis
After breakfast enjoy an optional guided walking tour of Sibenik - a town which successfully combines famous history and natural beauties. Departure to the Island of Vis. A stop will be made for swimming and relaxing (weather dependant) and there will be a snack served of Dalmatian fried fish. Afternoon arrival to Vis - an island famous for its sandy beaches and beautiful bays. Here you can choose to have an optional guided tour which includes wine tasting. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice or on board for guests on full board option. Overnight in Vis.
Day 4 Tuesday: Vis - Hvar - Split
Breakfast on board and early departure to Hvar - the sunniest Adriatic island. Upon arrival enjoy an optional guided tour with a local guide. Departure to Split with lunch served along the way and an en-route stop made on Brac island for swimming and enjoying the crystal clear sea. Arrival to Split and optional guided walking tour in the afternoon. Enjoy the magnificent town of Split with its numerous archaeological, historical and cultural sites. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice or on board for guests on full board option. Overnight in Split.
Day 5 Wednesday: Split - Omis - Brac - Korcula
Breakfast on board and early departure to Omis - a small town built below steep mountains at the mouth of river Cetina. Free time for explore on your own or to take an optional tour to Cetina river. Departure to Pucisca (Brac island) around noon. Lunch will be served along the way. Pucisca is nestled in a beautiful bay on the island of Brac, surrounded by stone quarries that yield some of the whitest and best quality limestone in the world. Suffice to say that pillars of this snow-white stone decorates the facade of the White House and other landmarks all over the world. After docking at Pucisca, you can join a short optional visit to a stonemasonry school nearby where you will learn of the Brac Limestone, their centuries-old tradition of stonemasonry and the unconventional tools they use. Departure to the island of Korcula. Cakes and coffee will be served for a snack. Afternoon arrival to Korcula. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice or on board for guests on full board option. Overnight in Korcula.
Day 6 Thursday: Korcula - Mljet - Slano
Breakfast on board and optional morning walking tour of Korcula. Departure to Pomena (Mljet island). Island of Mljet on its western side houses the National Park Mljet, known for its immense beauty and its two turquoise salty lakes surrounded by thick forest. Upon arrival you will have plenty of free time to explore the park individually, for example, by renting bikes and cycling or jogging on the numerous paths around the lakes or in the forests or take our optional trip to the lakes. Lunch and swimming break are followed by afternoon departure to Slano. Tonight there is an option to enjoy a delicious Captains dinner (payable locally) with the crew and your fellow travellers. Overnight in Slano.
Day 7 Friday: Slano - Dubrovnik
After breakfast you can take an optional guided tour "Taste of Dalmatia" - you will visit Ston - a small town famous for its 5km long city walls (the longest one in Europe) and visit a local winery where you will have opportunity to taste some of the finest Dalmatian wines. Later, we set sail to Dubrovnik and cruise beneath Dubrovnik City Walls and then to port Gruz. Upon arrival to Dubrovnik, for those who purchased the walking tour package a transfer is organised to the Old Town gate where you will be joining a guided tour of Dubrovnik. Our local expert will show you around this fascinating world-known landmark, an ancient town protected by 13th centry fortifications. Dubrovnik was for centuries a standalone Republic and the only power able to compete with the Venetians. After the tour you will have free time to explore Dubrovnik on your own. You can take the cable car to the top of the hill overlooking Dubrovnik for wonderful photo opportunities, make the tour of the walls or just enjoy a scoop of ice-cream as you stroll through its narrow streets paved with ancient stones. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice or on board for guests on Full board option. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 8 Saturday: Dubrovnik
Disembarkation after breakfast by 12pm. Transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for homeward journey or hotel of your choice in the Dubrovnik Riviera for a second week.
