Thinking of visiting Croatia and still not sure where to start from? This island hopping tour provides plenty of time for exploring interesting resorts, towns, small bays, attractive and unspoilt parts of Croatia.
Starting from Dubrovnik your trip will take you to the islands of Korcula, Hvar and ending with a visit to Split.
Departures are available any day of the week between 01 April - 31 October.
Day 1: Dubrovnik
Arrive from the UK and settle at your hotel.
Day 2: Dubrovnik
Breakfast at hotel. Time spent at leisure in Dubrovnik. Known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic" Dubrovnik is an extraordinary destination. We recommend sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Town, where you can navigate through a cobweb of narrow streets and alleys and a walk along the famous city walls. Not to be missed is a panoramic ride to Mt. Srdj on Dubrovnik's new cable car for breathtaking views of the Old Town and the area. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Dubrovnik
Breakfast at hotel. We recommend a day excursion visiting nearby Elaphite Islands - Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan. Here you can enjoy beautiful green islands, sandy beaches, picturesque villages and little votive churches. Or take a short trip to the Island of Lokrum which is a protected nature reserve. Take a walk among the botanical gardens or explore the ruins of the Benedictine Monastery. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: Dubrovnik - Korcula
Breakfast at hotel. Departure towards the island of Korcula, which boasts numerous unspoilt coves and beaches, azure blue sea, an abundance of lush, aromatic Mediterranean plants and an average of 3,000 hours of sunshine per year. Arrival to the resort of Korcula and overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Korcula
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure to explore Korcula's Old Town, the birthplace of famous explorer Marco Polo. Korcula is one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Experience narrow streets and cobbled alleyways, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces. We suggest a visit to St Marks Cathedral which is an impressive Gothic and Renaissance building in the centre of the Old Town. Once there you can climb a narrow staircase that will lead you up to the bell tower, which offers fantastic views of the town and surroundings. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Korcula - Hvar
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning departure to the island of Hvar. Arrive at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day exploring Hvar town and the island. Protected by UNESCO, Hvar is a place of unique cultural and historical heritage, but also a popular resort with centuries old tradition in tourism, pleasant climate, long hours of sunshine, natural beauty and famous gastronomic offerings. There is a remarkable, white polished stone square in front of the impressive Cathedral which is home to a bustling market place selling a number of quality handmade souvenirs and crafts with fantastic views of the harbour and the backdrop of islands. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7: Hvar - Split
Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Split. Afternoon at leisure and a chance to enjoy this magnificent city with its numerous archaeological, historical and cultural sites. We suggest sightseeing of the UNESCO protected Diocletian's Palace and its cellars. Its narrow streets hide passageways and courtyards, some deserted and eerie, others lively and animated by the music from bars and cafes, or by the everyday life of its residents. Overnight in Split.
Day 8: Split
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Split Airport or to your chosen hotel in Split for second week.
