Dalmatian Highlights Cruise follows one of Europe's sunniest coastlines, so there are ample opportunities here for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing, with plenty of cultural and historic sites at literally every stop. Starting from Dubrovnik, this cruise will take you around the islands of Korcula, Brac, Hvar and Mljet, visiting cities of Dubrovnik and Split.
Important: This cruise is scheduled to depart Dubrovnik at 4pm therefore your arrival flight must land in Dubrovnik before 2pm.
Day 1 Saturday: Dubrovnik - Korcula
Arrive from the UK and embark from 11am - 3pm. Departure from Dubrovnik at 4pm. You will be served a welcome drink with snack and offered a chance to meet your Cruise Director, the Captain and the crew of m/s “Adriatic Pearl”. Instructions are given and safety measures explained. Early dinner at 6pm is served on route for the island of Korcula.
Day 2 Sunday: Korcula - Brac (Pucisca) - Omis
After breakfast we explore the medieval town of Korcula, the birthplace of merchant-explorer Marco Polo. We then set sail towards the island of Brac, passing the peninsula of Peljesac and the south-eastern part of Hvar island. There is a stop for a swim in a secluded bay before arriving to Pucisca, known for some of the purest and best quality architectural limestone in the world. Arrival to Omis, where we anchor for the night. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice, or on board for guests with full board option.
Day 3 Monday: Omis - Split
Morning at leisure. Omis town is known for two things: the stunning beauty of the river Cetina with its canyon and for historic pirates. In the early afternoon we continue to Split, your port of call for the day. You are free to explore stunning sites of the Old Town including the monumental Diocletian Palace and other historic parts of this 'museum-city', which is justly featured in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Dinner venue choice is left to you, while it is served on board for guests with full board option.
Day 4 Tuesday: Split - Hvar - Vela Luka
Today we sail towards the island of Hvar, known as the sunniest island in Croatia and famous for its endless fields of lavender & rosemary, the beautiful coast and charming historical towns. Our destination is Hvar, buzzing Mediterranean town of outstanding beauty and character. There is an optional short guided walk around the Old Town before continuing to Korcula Island. Enjoy a swimming break near beautiful Pakleni Otoci (islands) and a fried fish snack. Arrival at Vela Luka on Korcula island in the late afternoon. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice, or on board for guests with full board option.
Day 5 Wednesday: Vela Luka - Mljet (Pomena)
Afrter leaving stunning Vela Luka port, the Captain will hand-pick a bay for some swimming and sunbathing, before proceeding to the island of Mljet - one of the greenest islands of Croatia, famous for an astonishing National Park with two salt water lakes within. Here, there is ample time to explore the fishing village of Pomena or indulge in numerous dry-land activities. Dinner venue choice is left to you, while it is served on board for guests with full board option.
Day 6 Thursday: Mljet - Sipan - Slano
Cruise from Mljet towards Slano with en route stop made on the island of Jakljan for swimming and enjoying the crystal clear sea and a light snack. On the way, there are some amazing landscapes of the Elaphite islands to take in as we cruise by, including a brief visit to the island of Sipan. Arrival to Slano. Dinner is taken at a restaurant of your choice, or on board for guests with full board option.
Day 7 Friday: Slano - Dubrovnik
After breakfast there is an optional excursion programme on offer, before sailing to Lopud island including a short swimming break. Arrival to Dubrovnik and cruise beneath the breathtaking Old Town, medieval walls and fortresses. Upon docking at the port of Gruz, there is an optional guided tour of the city with local expert who will unveil fascinating history and tales of standalone Dubrovnik Republic - the only naval power able to compete with the Venetians. Time at leisure. Dinner venue choice is left to you, while it is served on board for guests with full board option.
Day 8 Saturday: Dubrovnik
Disembarkation follows breakfast by 9am after which you transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for homeward journey or hotel of your choice for second week.
