Dubrovnik Cruise Itinerary - MS Princess Aloha or MS Karizma

Day 1 Saturday: Dubrovnik

Arrive from the UK and embark from 2pm onwards. There is time at leisure to settle in before an evening welcome reception - this is an opportunity to meet your Cruise Manger, the Captain and the crew of your cruising vessel. Instructions are given and safety measures explained.

Day 2 Sunday: Dubrovnik - Mljet - Korcula

We start the day with a panoramic sailing around the Old city Dubrovnik. Afterwards we set sail for Mljet Island. Here, the National Park encompasses unusually varied types of woodlands, rare bird species and two deep lakes, so it is no wonder Odysseus stayed here for a while. After time to enjoy the spectacular scenery, we continue to cruise to Korcula, the birthplace of the merchant explorer Marco Polo. Evening meal on board.

Day 3 Monday: Korcula - Pucisca (Island of Brac)

Today we explore the narrow, cobbled streets of Korcula Old Town on foot and visit the majestic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Boarding the ship for lunch with a swimming & sunbathing stop as we continue to our next port of call. Late afternoon we arrive to Pucisca, a charming and picturesque resort on the island of Brac. Evening at leisure and an optional evening meal at one of many local restaurants.

Day 4 Tuesday: Pucisca - Omis - Split

Following a morning sail we stop at the ancient town of Omis. Medieval fortresses here are silent reminders of the power and might of infamous pirates who once made Omis their home. After a short walking tour we board a smaller boat and sail into Cetina River Canyon, a protected nature site with outstanding beauty. A local speciality snack is served at the Radman Mills before returning to the ship and cruise to Split. Upon arrival, we join the guided tour of Split's port, the seafront promenade, Roman's Diocletian‘s Palace and many UNESCO World Heritage sites. Evening at leisure and an optional evening meal at one of many local restaurants.

Day 5 Wednesday: Split - Bol (Island of Brac) - Hvar (Island of Hvar)

We depart Split in the morning and head for Bol on the island of Brac, for a swim at Croatia's most famous beach – the Golden Horn. Enjoy nearly 1km of golden pebble beach that uniquely changes its shape and position depending on the winds. Return to our boat for lunch before heading for Hvar, justly reputed as the finest island on the Adriatic and a magnet for celebrities from across the world. Our sightseeing tour of Hvar town reveals Europe's first public theatre (older than the Globe!) and many other historical sites. Evening at leisure and an optional evening meal at one of many local restaurants.

Day 6 Thursday: Hvar - Trstenik

Relax and unwind on the ship's sun deck as we cruise to delightful Trstenik, a dozy fishing village under the wooded hillside of the Peljesac peninsula. We spend the afternoon soaking up the sun and jumping off the ship to cool down in crystal blue water. Tonight, we enjoy a Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment on board.

Day 7 Friday: Trstenik - Dubrovnik

As we sail back to Dubrovnik along the shores of Mljet Island, there are some magnificent views of steep coastal cliffs to enjoy, followed by a swimming break in one of the secluded bays. Lunch is served onboard before we arrive to Dubrovnik, where we will join a walking tour of Dubrvonik, the "Pearl of the Adriatic" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit the Rector's Palace and the Franciscan Monastery's Pharmacy. Evening at leisure and an optional evening meal at one of many local restaurants.

Day 8 Saturday: Dubrovnik

Disembarkation follows breakfast by 9am after which you transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for your homeward journey or a hotel of your choice for your second week.
