Bansko boasts 70km of marked ski runs and 9km of cross country tracks that have been extensively cultivated.

In less than 20 minutes the fast Gondola will take you to the Bansko ski centre, which is situated approximately 12km away from town. The ski center has 70km of marked ski runs and 9km of cross country tracks that have been extensively cultivated. More than 80% of the slopes are covered by snow cannons and all runs are groomed by more than 12 Kassbohrer slope maintenance vehicles to guarantee maximum safety and pleasure from the great selection of nursery, intermediate, and advanced pistes. The ski runs are serviced by a number of chair lifts and drag lifts, all of which Doppelmayer lifts, including the 8-man Gondola and the four-chair lift with bubble shields to protect you from harsh weather conditions. Expect no queues for this and the easy hands-free access to all lifts is by SkiData chip ski passes, meaning you never need to take the pass out of your pocket, which is still not a common occurrence in many other resorts. In addition to on-piste skiing, skiers and snowboarders shouldn't forget to try the fun park in the Platoto area or the half-pipe located near Bansko's famous snow towers offering both skiers and snowboarders the perfect arena to flaunt their latest tricks. If you still have some energy left at the end of you day, why return to the resort  when you can ski a unique run of 16km uninterrupted skiing, starting from Todorka Peak at the highest point of the ski center, all the way to base station of the Gondola lift at the outskirts of town. The last 7 km of the slopes are floodlit and the entire facility is equipped with artificial snow machines to ensure a great skiing experience even in warmer conditions.
