LAKE BLED |
Lake Bled is the most well-known tourist attraction of Slovenia, with the Madonna church on the small island within. There is easy access from the town of Bled to the ski slopes of Straza within minutes, where the well-maintained ski runs offer a fantastic view to the adjacent lake and the town beneath.
Night skiing is also possible in Lake Bled on certain days. Your ski pass gives access to the famous Castle of Bled and you can use the local ice rink as well.

LAKE BOHINJ |
The most popular ski resort of the Lake Bohinj region, Vogel is situated between 569 and 1800 metres above sea level. The winter season starts from December and lasts till early May, or sometimes even longer.
On the ski piste, which goes straight down to the valley, snow is guaranteed despite the low level, as it is enclosed in a cold hollow. The slopes can be accessed by a cabin lift, and many other drag and seated lifts will bring you further on to other areas of various skill levels.
Above the Lake of Bohinj, the ski resort of Kobla is the only ski centre in Slovenia served by rail. Because Kobla is situated lower than the neighbouring Vogel, the lifts and pistes start right from the resort centre town of Bohinjska Bistrica.
In recent years snow cannons have been installed. The ski resort is suitable for those preferring long and fast slopes. The pistes range between 580 and 1480 metres above sea level, and there is a possibility for night skiing.

KRANJSKA GORA |
Kranjska Gora is a charming little alpine village close to the triple border of Italy, Austria and Slovenia, and a popular winter and summer mountain resort. Its ski slopes are between 800 and 1300 metres above sea level. The lifts and some ski runs start right from the village.
This winter ski resort is an ideal choice for beginners, because the majority of pistes are easy ones and suitable for beginners. Every year, a race of a major international ski competition takes place on the FIS ski run in Kranjska Gora. |
