Advanced Passenger Information is also referred to as API or E-Borders.
This information must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to travelling, failure to supply the correct information could result in you being refused travel upon arrival at the airport.

The e-Borders Initiative! |

To help improve security at the UK borders, the UK Home Office has implemented "e-Borders" programme. The function of e-Borders will be to collect specific data of every person that crosses our border controls. Balkan Holidays are legally required to collect and pass this specific data to the UK Border Agency. For more information please visit E-borders web site. Please supply this information for all passengers listed below, including children and infants, from the travel documents that will be used for this journey. If this information is incomplete, inaccurate or does not match the document presented on the day of travel, you will not be allowed to board your flight!

What is Advanced Passenger Information? |

Advance Passenger Information/API refers to specific passport information including:
- passport number
- passport issue date
- country which issued your passport
- passport expiry date
- given names (as they appear on the passport)
- last name
- gender
- date of birth
- nationality

What We Do with This Information? |

Balkan Holidays will only provide the necessary government authorities with the required and relevant information.

How Can I Submit My Advanced Passenger Information? |

We recommend that you give us this information as soon as you book your holiday or as soon as possible afterwards.
You can add your Advance Passenger Information online using our Manage My Booking system and make sure that the information is completed at least 8 weeks prior to the date of travel.
*NOTE: API data is required for people travelling in Summer 2012 (if you travel with BH Air or Bulgaria Air then API is currently not needed) and Winter 2012/13 for all our destinations. |
