DAY 1
Transfer on the day of the tour from Dubrovnik, Podgorica or Tivat airports to a hotel in Budva or Becici. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast, drive from the hotel along the south Montenegrin coast passing by famous peninsula and town hotel Sveti Stefan (panoramic photo stop), further to Petrovac and over Pastovici mountain arriving to Virpazar, small village on the bank of the national park Skadar Lake.
Short boat ride over the lake.
Bus drive continues to Rozaje, passing through canyons Platije and Tara.
On the way, stop to visit monastery Moraca and for a lunch in Kolasin, small town at the foot of the mountain Bjelasica.
Continue the drive passing by the national park Biogradska Gora. Arrival in Rozaje, check in and overnight in the hotel.
DAY 3
Breakfast in the hotel.
Drive to Kosovo over Kula border passage.
Arrival in town of Pec and visit of Pecka Patrijarsija, Serbian orthodox monastery. The complex of churches is the spiritual seat and mausoleum of the Serbian archbishops and patriarchs. From 2006 it is listed as Unesco World Heritage Site.
Lunch in national restaurant in Rugovska Canyon.
Drive to town of Prizren.
On the way, visit of Monastery Visoki Decani. It was built between 1327 and 1335 by the Serbian medieval king St. Stephen of Decani and was dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord. The monastery is settled in the picturesque valley of the Bistrica River surrounded by the mountains and forests of the Prokletije mountain range. It is the largest and best preserved medieval monastery in Balkans.
Overnight and dinner in a hotel situated on Šar Mountains.
DAY 4
After breakfast, city tour in Prizren. The town of Prizren is located on the Bistrica (Lumbardhi) River in the South of Kosovo. It is set against the backdrop of the Sharr Mountains to the south and the Accursed Mountains bordering Albania to the west. Among all Kosovo towns, Prizren is certainly the most charming one boasting the highest number of Ottoman-era buildings and mosques, adorned with narrow cobbled streets, a beautifully carved stone bridge and shops selling traditional crafts. This town has best preserved Ottoman flair.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Drive to Albania and arrival in Tirana.
Tirana guided tour includes visiting including the visit of the Clock Tower, built at the beginning of 19th century, which during its 200 years long history became the symbol of the city and visit of the Ethem Bey Mosque.
Drive towards Durres, the ancient Greco-Roman port city of Dyrrachium.
City guided tour including the visit of: The Byzantine city walls, Roman Amphitheater and the Archaeological Museum.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
DAY 5
After breakfast, drive to Apollonia.
Guided tour through this ancient town, the most important archeological centre of the country, founded in 588 BC by Greeks from Corinth. The town quickly grew to 50,000 residents by the second century BC. Apollonia later became a free Roman town after it sided with Julius Caesar during the war against Pompey. It developed into a cultural center of the arts until the 3rd century AD when an earthquake rerouted a river and lead to the town's decline.
Drive continues to town of Berat.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Guided tour of the town known as “a town of a thousand windows”. It is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour includes: visit of The Fortress, Cathedral of St. Nicholas, Onufri's Museum and Old Bazaar.
Drive back to Durres.
Dinner and overnight in the hotel
DAY 6
After breakfast, drive to Kruja - the picturesque birthplace of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg (Albanian national hero).
The town guided tour includes the visit of: The Castle built during 5th and 6th century AC, Gjergj Kastrioti (Scanderbeg) Museum and the attractive Medieval Bazaar.
Drive continues to town Shkoder.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Shkoder guider tour including the visit of: The Archeological and Ethnographical Museum, The Catholic Cathedral, old town and Rozafa Castle.
Drive to Montenegro.
Arrival, check in, dinner and overnight in a hotel in Becici/Budva.
DAY 7
After breakfast, drive from the hotel over the mountains, enjoying the beautiful view over the coast and spectacular scenery, to the old capital of Montenegro – Cetinje.
Cetinje guided tour includes the visit of Cetinje Monastery, the place from ehere Montenegrin bishops ruled this small country.
Drive continues to the mountain Lovcen.
Stop in a local village - Njegusi for snack made of local specialties (smoked ham, cheese and a glass of wine or honey wine).
From Njegusi drive continues down the mountain serpentines to the unique fiord, Bay of Kotor
Guided tour of the ancient town - Kotor, a medieval Mediterranean jewel under UNESCO protection. The tour includes the visit of St. Tripun Cathedral from 12th century.
Return to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight.
DAY 8
Departure transfer to the airport of Dubrovnik, Podgorica or Tivat
