Bulgaria's beach hotels have kept the low prices from last year which has caused an even higher interest for vacations of Russian tourists in Bulgaria during 2010.
The data was provided and collected by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, where more than 70, 000 Russian tourists have picked Bulgaria as their vacation destination, which is a great rise on the figure last year.
“The higher interest in Bulgaria has been recorded not only by our company, but also by our colleagues from other tour companies,” said Elena Andrievska, responsible for Bulgaria in the Russian “ICS Travel”.
She also explained that normally about 60% of the tourists visit the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, but this year especially the company has registered a much growing demand towards some of the resorts such as “Albena” and the “Duni” resort.
A different well known Russian travel company, “Delta Intercontinental Group”, has also recorded a huge increase of 30% and sold out all their summer travel packages for August 2010.
The Bulgarian tour operators have confirmed that most of these Russian visitors who stay in hostels, choose the “all inclusive” packages with an average stay of about 2 weeks.
