The Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Albena will unveil a brand new aquapark on July 1st 2014. Once opened the Aquapark will offer its visitors more than 600 meters of water slides and a fun, action packed children's section.

Lovka Strashilova, Deputy Sales Director of Albena AD said "The Aquapark opening will form part of the 45th anniversary celebrations of the resort and is one of a kind for the country."

The 45th anniversary of the resort will be marked with a series of celebrations throughout the summer season as well as renovations of the beach facilities, hotels and restaurants. There will be free wifi access not only in the hotels and restaurants, but also in the parks and on the beach. The resort will also offer its guests a chess school, yoga sessions, meditation, laughing therapy, cycling, water and beach sports and golf.

As part of Albena's partnership with the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, all state tournaments will take place at the newly renovated courts of the complex. Strashilova also confirmed that the beach will boast new changing rooms, solar showers and the popular beach library will be expanded.

Included in the anniversary celebrations is also an exciting line up of concerts, variety programs and film nights throughout the summer.
