Every year Bourgas Airport in Bulgaria annouces their millionth passenger and for 2010 it was Eileen Nischik, who happily arrived at Burgas Airport on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast from her home town Cologne in Germany, and found out at the airport that she is in fact the one-millionth passenger for 2010.
The 23 years old German was travelling with her partner Torsten Dormann and visiting Bulgaria to spend 7 days in Obzor, one of Bulgaria's black sea resorts.
This lucky 1 millionth traveller along with her friend were then serviced in the airport's VIP lounge and were personally contgratulated by the airport's director Georgi Chipilski during a special ceremony.
This is now the eighth year in a row that the Burgas Airport has managed to celebrates the arrival of its millionth yearly passenger which is a great achievement. What is even better for the Airport is that it has now registered a 8% growth of the number of people traveling through it.
For those travelling to Bulgaria and the Black Sea Coast, you are advised to travel Via Bourgas Airport when visiting; Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Elenite, Sozopol, Pomorie & Duni resorts.
