Pamporovo is a bright and modern ski resort located in Bulgaria, high in the Rhodope mountains and is known as the sunniest mountain resort in Europe. It boasts on average no less than 270 sunny days a year and in the winter provides the perfect combination – plenty of snow and sparkling sunshine to show off the resort at its best.
The latest news from this facinating ski resort is that the old ski runs have been worked on throughout the summer, where two slopes have been made wider to include the run down to Stoikite. The plan is for another ski run to be lit this season for all the night skiing lovers as well as electric boards will be introduced throughout the slopes.
To add to the good news the lift prices will not be increased during 2010/11. To help with the service there wll also be electronic ticket machines which will help speed up the process of purchaising lift passes.
We are als happy to announce that no more building permissions will be given on the slopes to help preserve its historic atmosphere.
