Whether you are trying to squeeze in an extra ski holiday before the season ends or simply don't have the time for a week long holiday, our 3 and 4 nights ski and snowboard weekend breaks in the resorts of Bansko and Borovets may be just the thing for you.

Flying from London Gatwick to the Bulgarian capital of Sofia on a Thursday or Friday for some fun on the slopes of the beautiful Pirin and Rila Mountains.

In the modern snow sports resort and charming traditional town Bansko you will have the chance to enjoy 75 kilometres of marked ski runs and experience the warm Bulgarian hospitality in the local "Mehana" restaurants serving delicious Bulgarian cuisine and wines, often with live folklore music. The lively bars and nightclubs offer a wonderful blend of apres-ski entertainment in the evenings.  For your comfort  we have chosen the established Hotels Strazhite 4*, Pirin 4*, Bansko 4* and Mura 3* and for those looking for a little bit more independence the Self-Catering Aparthotel Belmont 4*.

Situated on the northern slopes of the breathtaking Rila Mountains, Borovets was Bulgaria's first and is still one of the most popular ski resorts. It is famous not only for its superb skiing but also for its great night-life with its numerous bars, cafes and clubs. Accommodation is available in Hotel Samokov 4*, Hotel Breza 3* and Self-Catering Apartments Villa Park Mountain Residence 3*.

Our ski and snowboard weekend breaks are on sale now for departures from 12th January to 6th April 2012 which include flights, accommodation and services of a Balkan Holidays Representative.

With Balkan Holidays you can also pre-book ski services and private transfers prior to travelling.
