Since launching it's partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support in January 2012, Balkan Holidays have continued to put this worthy cause in the spotlight with promotion of the charity in both its summer and winter brochures as well as a dedicated page for the charity on the Balkan Holidays website.

Throughout the last two years the Balkan Holidays London staff have taken part in various fund-raising events including a coffee morning, London walk and prize draw raffles in order to assist Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, medical and financial assistance and push for better cancer care by raising invaluable funds.

Upon launch of the partnership, Balkan Holidays also introduced a new option for customers to show their support of this worthy cause by donating an additional £1 per person on their summer or winter holiday booking. And its this combination of your fantastic support and the efforts of the Balkan Holidays London staff which have enabled us to proudly announce that we have now managed to raise £16 569 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

A huge thank you to everyone who has booked with us in the last year and taken the time to generously donate to this worthy cause when booking their holiday. Without you we would not have been able to raise such an incredible amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support and we cannot thank you enough.

We hope to continue to raise as much money as possible in the future and have set ourselves a target of £25 000 which is the cost of a MacMillan nurse for 6 months. With your help we can make a difference to the lives of millions of people affected by cancer every year.
