- A day on the beach
When on holiday in Sunny Beach you just have to spend some time on the beach! It stretches for miles around the bay, from St Vlas to Nessebar. You can relax on the beautiful sand, take a dip in the cool waters of the Black Sea and then enjoy a cold and refreshing drink or a bit to eat in the numerous bars and restaurants dotted along the beach.
- Aqua Park
A day at an aqua park is a day well spent, especially when the weather is hot! There are two aqua parks in and around Sunny Beach. There’s Action Aqua Park in in Sunny Beach itself, it has lots of different water slides and attractions, including for children of all ages. There’s also an aqua park on the road to Nessebar, called Aqua Paradise, again it has slides of all shapes and sizes including the longest water slide in Europe. - Water Sports
There’s also great fun to be had on the water with a host of different water sports. You can try water skiing, rent water skis, kayaks or paddleboard. Or how about a banana boat ride? Just make sure you hang on tight!
- Luna Park
Luna Park is a proper old school family fun based theme park with a number of classic fairground rides, games and rides and that includes a rollercoaster. This is located near the beach, walk down Flower Street, turn right and it’s a bit further down on the right hand side of the promenade.
- Go Karting
Go Karting is undoubtedly great fun and there’s a really good track just outside Sunny Beach. The track is 400 metres and winds around like a F1 track and is great fun. The youngest age is 8 years old and for children this age there are speed restrictions, but for adults there are no restrictions so go for that chequered flag! The track is just outside Sunny Beach, on the road to Varna, you can reach it by taxi.
- Camel Park
First, we promise no jokes about having the hump! This Camel Park is actually the only such park in Eastern Europe, it’s a wonderful attraction and well worth a visit. There are 17 camels offering rides plus there’s alpacas, ponies, donkeys, rabbits and exotic birds. There is a children’s playground and if anyone has a birthday while you’re on holiday they even organise birthday parties.
- Spa Day
Water sports, day trips and go karting…after all that you need a spa day! It’s a great way to unwind and be pampered. There will be a spa near to where you’re staying as many hotels have them and you’ll emerge a new person feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. Plus, the prices are much lower than back in the UK or other European resorts.
- Turkish Bath
There’s nothing quite like a Turkish Bath, or a hammam. A day at the spa is relaxing, gentle, peaceful, nothing like a Turkish Bath! You will be washed thoroughly with soap and suds, you’ll have cold water poured over you plus you’ll have very strong fingers rubbing out all the strains of everyday living and when you emerge after all this you’ll feel a million Lev! Having a Turkish Bath is something you just have to do at least once in your life.
- Trip to Nessebar
Stand on the beach in Sunny Beach, look straight across the bay and you’ll see Nessebar, the ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage site. A trip to this beautiful place is like a step back in time with its cobbled streets and gabled houses. It’s steeped in history and is well worth a visit. You can reach Nessebar by the local bus, a taxi or best of all, by boat.
- Boat Trip
There’s nothing like a boat trip on the open sea. There are a few to choose from, there are gentle tours that include food and visits to secluded bays.
