Wet & Wild Fun in Bulgaria

Our Guide to Aqua Parks & Hotels with Waterslides in Bulgaria…
Bulgaria enjoys such glorious sunny weather a day of fun at an aqua park is a must! Well, we are pleased to say that Bulgaria has plenty of Aqua Parks to choose from. There’s one in Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Albena and many hotels have their own aqua park or waterslides. Here is our guide to aqua parks in Bulgaria...

(Aqua Parks) Sunny Beach -

Action Aqua Park Action Aqua Park is attached to Hotel Aqua Nevis and anyone can use it. It’s a great day out as it has all types of slides. For thrill seekers there’s the Kamikaze, turbulence or the twister, perhaps go on those before lunch! There’s plenty for younger children too, like numerous splash pools, a water castle and Adventure Island plus a mini zoo. There are also changing rooms, lockers and plenty of snack bars too. The location of this aqua park is also very convenient as it’s in the resort, so very handy for people staying in Sunny Beach.

Nessebar - Aqua Paradise
Aqua Paradise is located just as you enter Nessebar and is clearly visible from the main road. It’s great fun, with 60 different attractions and 38 water slides giving over 2500 metres of slides!

There’s the King Cobra where you can slide up to the top and back again on a giant rubber ring while water pours out of the Cobra’s fangs! Or you can spin down the whirlpool or face a sheer drop on Lightning. There’s a separate area for younger children, there’s two pools, a water mushroom and plenty more. There’s also a wave pool and two river rides, one for rafting and one that is more gentle and lets you take in the experience rather than see everything flash by in a few seconds!

You can also enjoy a snack and a drink in one of the numerous bars dotted around the park. We think Aqua Paradise is a cracking day out and well worth a visit.

Albena - Aquapark Aquamania
Aquapark Aquamania is another excellent water park in Bulgaria. The Tornado is nearly 200 metres long or you can race your friends and family on the ProRacer and SpaceRacer, which even has a timing system. If you want more try ‘Freefall’ or there’s the ‘Mammoth’, a huge slide that you can enjoy on a large inflatable with up to 3 other people. There are two river rides, one wild and one lazy, take your pick! There’s a kid zone for the younger ones plus snack bars and ice cream stands when you need a break! All this and entry costs just 32 leva per adult for a full day’s visit (summer 2022 prices), now that’s great value.

We also feature a number of hotels that have their own aqua park or waterslides. These hotels are perfect for families because if the children are happy then everyone’s happy! Here’s a list of those hotels…
