JOB TITLE: Digital Marketing Manager LOCATION: Balkan Holidays Head Office, Central London
ABOUT BALKAN HOLIDAYS: Balkan Holidays is a niche specialist tour operator, arranging package holidays, accommodation and flights for UK travellers. We are technically ambitious and keen to transact more and more though our online channels. In a small marketing team, it is key to be hands-on, flexible and hard-working. We work smart, fast and have high digital targets for 2022.
THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to join an established brand with over 55 years of experience in the travel sector. As Digital Marketing Manager, you will take over the acquisition strategy across the full spectrum of online marketing channels – SEM, Social Media, SEO, Affiliate and email Marketing. The overall objective of this hands-on role is to build brand awareness, drive engagement and increase online sales.
Oversee, implement and optimise the digital marketing strategy
Create, execute and monitor marketing campaign budgets
Take over and maintain paid traffic accounts. Set up and optimise paid search and paid social campaigns
Maintain and develop social media and digital media presence
Collaborate with designers, developers, SEO, product and sales teams to keep the website updated with fresh content and the latest offers and promotions
Use various tools to measure, analyse and optimise e-commerce website performance. Test key landing pages to reduce friction points and increase conversion rates
Closely monitor performance across website, all digital marketing campaigns and channels, maintain reports to assess ROI and agreed KPI’s
Develop Affiliate Network presence and maintain relationships with key partners
Identify trends and insights, and optimise performance based on the insights
Research new online opportunities that may benefit the business
Assist with additional marketing activities like email newsletter creation, reputation management and other
Proven experience managing digital marketing strategy and budgets
Hands-on technical experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads and E-mail Marketing
Experience of managing and updating websites. Basic HTML knowledge
Experience creating reports in Google Analytics, Data Studio and Excel
An enthusiastic, highly motivated, team player, with the ability to build and maintain good trustworthy relationships
Able to stick to deadlines and able to think quickly and adapt to last minute campaigns
Up to date with the latest trends, news and best practices in online marketing and measurement. A thirst for all things data and digital keeping us at the forefront of new trends and content
