Bansko Ski Area
In less than 20 minutes a fast gondola cable lift will take you to the modern ski centre, situated on the upper slopes. At the end of the day it is up to you to decide whether to return on the gondola or ski/board down the ski road, which marks Bansko as one of the few resorts in the world to offer this option.
Bansko offers a unique 16 km uninterrupted run starting from Todorka Peak, the highest point in Bansko, with numerous pistes all the way down to the base station of the gondola lift. All the pistes are equipped with artificial snow machines to ensure a great skiing/boarding experience even in warmer conditions. At the end of the day there is a ski road that enables you to ski/board right into the town of Bansko.

Perfect For Skiing & Snowboarding
Bansko boasts having 90% of its slopes covered by snow cannons and these slopes are serviced by a number of quick modern chair and drag lifts. Another attractive feature of this modern resort is the easy hands-free access to all lifts by SkiData chip-card ski passes. In addition to the on piste skiing, Bansko offers extreme winter sports fans a 'Fun Park' for both skiers and snowboarders to show off their latest tricks.

The ULEN Ski & Board School has some of Bulgaria's best instructors and ski and snowboard equipment available. A great variety of wide and open blue runs perfectly suited for cruising intermediates. Bansko Holidays are a great choice for those committed to improving their skills and techniques, as well as for those who just enjoy taking things at a nice leisurely pace. All runs are accessible by chair lifts and there are a number of bars and restaurants by the slopes to re-charge your batteries in or unwind and rest after a fun day on the slopes. The resort really is a smart choice for intermediate skiers and snowboarders.
From the challenging red runs to the infamous Alberto Tomba black run, Bansko can keep most experts busy, Bansko Holidays offer some great freeriding for boarders and is a Snowboard friendly resort. Bansko is also a regular venue for extreme competitions and recently hosted both European and World FIS competitions. The Fun-Park is well designed and has some great rails and kickers for experts showing off their latest tricks. Bansko, with its biathlon and cross-country trails, is also the choice of Irina Nikulchina and Nina Kadeva, two Bulgarian women that are among the world's top ten biathlon racers.
Ski Lifts Working Hours & Ski Guides
The lift system operates from 8:30am till 4:30pm each day. A full day guiding services for skiers and snowboarders can be booked through ULEN ski-school.
