Visitors to Vrsar are enchanted by the beauty of this old fishing settlement,  with its naturally sheltered harbor and the 18 small tree-filled islands dotted around a beautiful archipelago. Vrsar developed at the outlet to the Lim Gulf, terraced along the hillsides overlooking the sea, dominated by the ruins of Kasela, a one-time residence of the Porec bishops.

Vrsar is situated on the western side of the Istrian Peninsula, overlooking the coast of Italy.
