Lake Bled Resort Guide

Lake Bled offers all the amenities of a modern ski resort - an excellent choice of restaurants, lively bars, disco and even a casino for that extra bit of fun. In the centre of the resort there is an open air ice rink and if the temperature gets low enough and the water of the lake freezes, you could even attempt to skate on the lake.

Guests staying in Lake Bled will be taken by local ski bus to Bohinj to ski at the Vogel ski area.

Beginners

The high level of tuition by the English speaking ski instructors make this a great place to learn to ski. Further up the slopes there are a number of long and wide blue runs that are just perfect for beginners who need to boost their confidence outside of the ski school.

Intermediates

A great place to ski for skiers who class themselves as intermediates. There are a host of red runs waiting to be tackled across all the ski areas. Amend intermediate section to above.

Advanced

Although there are a good number of black runs to be enjoyed, advanced skiers will find the skiing here fairly limited, although they will no doubt enjoy the opportunity of being able to ski in different ski areas during their holiday.

Snowboarders

There is great tuition available for those wanting to learn to snowboard, as well as many blue and red runs for the more experienced. The Vogel snow park is among the best in Slovenia and suitable for all levels plus the area around Lake Bled offers some interesting terrain for free riders and the chance to try some adventurous jumps.
