Please be aware that from the 30th April 2013 all EasyJet check in will be done online, not at the airport. As it is quick and easy, it will save you unnecessary time in queues at the airport. If you're travelling with a cabin bag only, you will be able to go straight to airport security and departure area when you arrive at the airport. If you have hold luggage, you can simply drop it off at one of the new Bag Drop desks which will be replacing the Check In desks.

The EasyJet online check-in also allows you to complete check in and print boarding passes for all your flights before leaving home, so there's no hassle trying to find a printer for your return flight while you're away.

EasyJet have said "We want to make air travel easy and affordable for our customers. Online check-in helps us to do this by reducing airport running costs – and reducing the time clients spend in queues at the airport."

Balkan Holidays package holidays to Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia which use an EasyJet flight will all be affected by the above change so we would like to stress the following if you will be flying with EasyJet on your Balkan Holidays package holiday this year:

• Customers can check in online and print their boarding pass from 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of their flight. Any subsequent flights, including return flight, will also be available for online check-in at the same time (as long as these flights take place within 30 days of the outbound flight).
• Online check-in is simple and free: just click on ‘Check-in online’ on the EasyJet website (www.easyjet.com)
• If you are concerned about printing your boarding pass, please ask a friend or family member to complete your online check-in and print your boarding pass for you (all they'll need is the booking reference), or you can use a public computer and printer, for example at an internet café or at work. Please note that, for security reasons, you will be asked to show your online boarding pass with the appropriate photo ID at the airport.

It is vital that you provide your API information at the time of booking or as soon as possible after otherwise you will not be able to check in online via the EasyJet website.

To submit your API information to Balkan Holidays please either call our friendly reservations team on 0845 130 1114 with your booking reference number handy, email res@balkanholidays.co.uk with your API information for all passengers on the booking and your reference number or add it to your booking via our website by clicking here. You can also sumbit your API details directly to EasyJet when you check in online.
