Balkan Holidays has appointed Jessica Jane Applegate MBE as an ambassador for Bulgaria, flying from Norwich Airport.

Balkan Holidays has asked Jessica Jane Applegate to be their official ambassador for Bulgaria in 2020, in particular to promote flights direct to Bulgaria from Norwich airport, near her home.

Jessica Jane is Para GB champion paralymic swimmer, consistently winning in category S14 since 2012. She fell in love with Bulgaria when she visited with her family.

In order to reach a new, younger audience in the Norwich area, Balkan Holidays have invited Jessica Jane to appear at a free event at the airport, to talk about not only her medal success but also about her love of Bulgaria.

Travel Norwich Airport travel agents will be on hand if guests are keen to book to see Jessica’s beloved Bulgaria. Louise Newton, Head of Marketing for Balkan Holidays said, ‘It was so inspiring to meet Jessica Jane and hear her story. And her love of Bulgaria. We hope those that follow her on Instagram might be inspired to consider Bulgaria this summer’.
