Let’s look at Malta first. This beautiful island in the middle of the Mediterranean really does offer all you could possibly want from a summer beach holiday. We offer eight resorts across Malta, all have sandy beaches that are lapped by crystal clear waters (sorry, we went all brochure speak on you there!). You can relax on these wonderful sandy beaches or by your hotel pool, but if you want a change of pace there are plenty of water sports available including diving, jet-skiing or para-gliding! Or how about a boat trip where you drop anchor at lunchtime to enjoy a picnic and then go snorkelling, a truly wonderful way to spend a day.

You can discover Malta’s fascinating history dating back to Roman times (did you know the film ‘Gladiator’ was filmed in Malta?) through to when the Knights Hospitaller defended Malta against Ottaman invasion in the Siege of Malta and established the capital Valletta which is now the European Union’s smallest and southern most capital city. A visit to Valletta is really worthwhile, there’s lots to see and do plus it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The beaches are stunning, all of them are sandy and perfect for soaking up the hot Mediterranean sunshine. For a change of scene you can head inland for that history, crafted by thousands of years of different countries and cultures.
