Summer Balkan Holidays Lead-In Price of £199 per person

Specialist tour operator Balkan Holidays have released their new range for 2020, with lead-in prices held at £199* per person. The programme has been expanded to include trips to the lakes and mountains of Slovenia and a new hold luggage allowance of 22kg is included on charter flights.

In response to guest feedback, the operator has increased its free luggage allowance to 22kg hold luggage and 10kg hand luggage for its charter flights.

Balkan offer a choice of 17 UK airports dotted all over the UK. In the North East, Teesside International Airport makes a welcome return for the second year, with trips to the Bulgarian coast. Elsewhere, Balkan are celebrating decades of flying, with 50 years just celebrated at Gatwick, Glasgow and Manchester.

What’s New

New for 2020 is a special range of hotels under the banner of ‘Time of Your Life’, exclusively for the over 50s. There are 9 hotels in this range, offering benefits such as no single supplements, free language classes and a free day trip. Expert representatives are on hand to ensure everyone, whether single, a couple or in groups, have the chance to mingle and enjoy one another’s company.

In total, 30 new hotels have been added in Bulgaria, with four new in Montenegro and four new in Croatia. The new range offers eight hotels in the Slovenian lakes and mountains. Guests can enjoy walking in the Julian Alps, lakeside relaxation and wine tasting. New hotels include the 4* Hotel Tiara Beach, in Sunny Beach, returning to the programme and offering All Inclusive value from only £561 per person. Also new is the 5* Grand Hotel & Spa Primoretz, Bourgas, in the heart of the Sea Garden, a lovely park, perfect for relaxation. The sandy beach is just 20 metres away.

Back for a second season is the stunning Wave Resort, on the Black Sea Coast, offering luxury and entertainment to its guests. There’s really no need to leave this resort, with numerous swimming pools, a water park and daytime and evening entertainment. The rooms are beautifully decorated with top of the range bed linen and curtains.
