Elenite Holiday Village
Elenite is a small summer holiday resort, north of Sunny Beach. Only residents are allowed to enter the holiday village, which was built in 1985. The villas and hotels have magificent seaviews. Water sports, aquapark and lots of entertaining facilities await the holidaymakers wanting to relax. The main attracting feature is obviously the flat sandy beach. Vehicles must be left outside, in the guarded car park. Residents are transported to the hotel within the village with small carts. This holiday complex consists of villas on the hillside of Elenite, with spectacular views. The sandy beach is safe and suitable for small children.

For the first time in history, a short distance sprint event in a European championship awarded a medal to a Bulgarian sprinter: Ivet Lalova from Sofia. Bulgaria at the London 2012 Games
Bulgaria will be represented by 63 athletes in 17 sports at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Yordan Yovchev will bear the Bulgarian national flag in the opening ceremony on Friday. The 39-year-old fourfold world champion gymnast has won four Olympian medals in Sydney and Athens, and the London 2012 Games will be his sixth Olympiad.
