The enchanting town of Nessebar is a perfect choice for a holiday this summer. It has everything you could want from a holiday; wonderful weather, glorious beaches, a historic old town, quality hotels and there’s plenty to do when the sun goes down too.

Pamporovo is a fantastic ski resort. It is set high in the Rhodope Mountains among magnificent pine forests at a height of 1,620 metres, it has 38 km of marked ski runs, including the a new 7km long run and 25 kilometers of cross country tracks. There is another new feature, lift passes will give you access to the Mechi Chal ski zone at Chepelare resort with a free shuttle bus service to take you between the two. Chepelare is just 10kms from Pamporovo and it has the longest ski run in Bulgaria.

This week we take a look at Borovets, Bulgaria’s most popular ski resort, although Bansko, its noisy neighbour, is gaining all the time!

When we decided to add a new summer destination we had to think very carefully. We didn’t want to offer somewhere that millions of people visit every year. We wanted to offer somewhere new and different and as soon as we looked at Northern Cyprus our mind was made up, this beautiful part of this Mediterranean island has over 30 unspoilt sandy beaches lapped by the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean, towns and cities crammed full of ancient history and of course those hot summers where the sun shines 340 days a year!
