The Island of Brac is the largest of the central Dalmatian group of islands and the third biggest of all the Adriatic islands. The British footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones will appear in the upcoming second season of the Bulgarian reality show Kurtitsata (The Mole). The 49yr old former Wimbledon, Leeds United and Chelsea man became famous as a Hollywood tough guy after his playing days for his roles in movie blockbusters such as “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, “Snatch” and "Escape Plan". Bulgarian Charity Event A Huge Success
Last month a touring party of former Aston Villa football players and special guests headed over to the the Bulgarian capital, Sofia for a weekend of fundraising in aid of the "Children of Bulgaria" and support of Stylian Petrov the former Aston Villa captain. In March 2012, Petrov was diagnosed with acute leukaemia, putting his football career on hold to have treatment. In May 2013 he announced his retirement from the game and in August 2012, it was announced that Petrov's leukaemia was in remission. Sports Aid for Children of Bulgaria
This weekend an Aston Villa Old Stars Xl will be taking on a Bulgarian Legends Xl in Sofia to recognise the contribution of Aston Villa club captain and former Bulgarian captain and international Stiliyan Petrov, who was diagnosed with acute leukaemia last year.
